Access to the property is via Highway 17 North out of the City of Alamosa , approximately 5 miles to the intersection of County Road 2 South, also known as Two Mile Road . Two Mile Road is then taken approximately 5 miles East to the intersection of County Highway 15S. There are three entrance roads with gates to the Ranch, the middle one located at the intersection of Two Mile Road and County Road 15S. The property has County maintained year round access to the entrance gates. For navigational purposes, the main gates are located at the following coordinates:

The topography of the parcel ranges from level to slightly rolling pasture from North to South, with some rolling foothill terrain, and moderate grass cover. The average elevation of the ranch is approximately 7,500’.

Domestic water supply is by well, with private septics for sewage disposal. Electrical service, provided by Xcel Energy, is currently being run to the Ranch.

The climate in the Valley is dry, with an average of 300 days of sunshine, 6”-8” of rainfall, and 30” of snowfall annually.

The San Luis Valley and the Circle DJ Ranch properties are surrounded by four seasons of fun, recreation and relaxation.

You choose the activity – hunt deer, elk and antelope in the morning, and take a mountain drive or shopping trip in the afternoon.

There are numerous mountain hot springs to enjoy within a short drive.

Fishing abounds, whether you like small stream or big lake action, including the Rio Grande River and Reservoir.

If skiing is your thing, you just can’t beat Wolf Creek Ski resort, less than an hour West. Wolf creek lays claim to “the most snow in Colorado ”, with an average 400 inches per year.
